Ben Colson is a London-based portrait photographer and director.
Born in Australia, Ben worked in design & print production before enroling in RMIT University's leading commercial photography program. While studying, he was lucky enough to land a gig assisting renowned Melbourne advertising photographer, Hugh Peachey.
In 2016, Ben moved to London and began working as first assistant to celebrity portrait photographer, Matt Holyoak. Under Holyoak, Ben helped orchestrate shoots featuring everyone from former Spice Girls to Queen Elizabeth, creating images for publications like Vanity Fair, GQ and Harper's Bazaar, and with brands like SK-II, Braun and Omega.
Ben now calls London home while looking for any excuse to travel with a camera. Preferably on a motorcycle.
